Brunswick Little Theatre will present “Almighty Bob,” a play by Tom Mula, this December, inviting audiences to experience some miraculous events on stage.

Here is how Brunswick Little Theatre describes the play:

“Bob is being checked into a nursing home by his daughter Karen.  Bob has become too much of a handful for her, so she checks him in to Dr. Wally’s nursing home for a trial period. Can they handle Bob?!?!

Karen thinks Bob might be delusional, except…some miraculous things occur when Bob is around. You see, sometimes he thinks he’s God, and he just might be right!

Dr. Wally is also dealing with the possibility of his nursing home being shut down. Can Bob and the social worker Colleen (who just might be an angel herself) find a way to save the nursing home? Can Bob help one of the residences, Claire, find a little romance along with a little bit of her Motown soul? Can another angel show Bob the way home while providing some valuable info to the audience?

Come see if one final miracle can provide a happy ending for all!

“Almighty Bob” will be performed Dec. 7-9 and 14-16 at 7:30 pm, with Sunday matinees on Dec. 10 and 17 at 3 pm, all at the theatre’s home at 8068 River Road in Southport.

Tickets are $25 each and are on sale now at Ricky Evans Gallery in Southport or on the BLT website at www.brunswicklittletheatre.com. BLT urges you to get tickets early as some shows, especially matinees, will sell out quickly.
